BOLA TrueMan3 Machine

After more than 2 years in development at our HQ, BOLA is proud to announce the TrueMan3, a significant update from our original TrueMan machine.

Lifelike Visual Simulation

At the heart of the TrueMan3 is a full-colour LED screen that transforms the batting experience. Unlike any machine that has come before it, the TrueMan3 plays a real video of a bowler running in and delivering the ball, with the footage synchronised precisely to the exact moment of release - giving batters the natural visual cues they rely on in a real match situation.

The screen can display footage of any bowler who consents to having their image used, and dedicated software is currently in development to allow users to film, create and upload their own custom video files. This means coaches and players can build a growing library of bowlers and bowling actions - something no previous bowling machine has been capable of offering.

Whether you're preparing to face a particular bowling style or simply develop your game against a variety of styles, the TrueMan3 delivers a batting experience that is as close to the real thing as technology allows.

Next-Generation Ball Delivery

A key engineering advancement is the introduction of a three wheel machine head - an upgrade from the two-wheel configuration used in previous BOLA machines. The additional wheel provides a greater degree of control over the ball, most notably introducing an element of backspin that mirrors a bowler running their fingers down the seam at the point of release. The result is measurably improved accuracy, particularly at high speeds. The TrueMan3 will bowl at speeds in excess of 100mph which makes it capable of challenging and improving players at the very highest level.

The machine has been extensively tested in our own cricket centre in Bristol, and the first orders have been shipped to Australia, Pakistan, the US as well as a couple of domestic UK users.
